House Rules
All dogs must enter and exit the building on a properly fitted collar and leash.
Please be cautious when entering and exiting the building with your pets.
We are not responsible for personal items, ie: toys, beds, blankets, leashes, collars, etc.
Please plan to pick-up your pets prior to 6 PM Mon.-Sat., and prior to 5 PM on Sundays. After-hours fees will apply.
We recommend an exit bath for all pets. There's nothing nicer than greeting a freshly washed dog!
Financial Policy
Boarding charges are calculated by the day, NOT by the night.
Check in day is calculated as the first day of boarding in all circumstances.
Check out time is 10:00 AM, after that time, an additional day of boarding charges applies.
We are open on Sundays from 4 PM until 5 PM for you convenience. Sundays count as a full day of boarding.
Sorry, we do not accept Traveler's Checks.
Payment in full is due at check out.

Dogs Day Inn offers dog and cat boarding and grooming, call (804) 745-7173. Proudly serving Richmond, Chesterfield, Midlothian, North Chesterfield, Powhatan and Chester. Our goal is to provide your best friend with a safe haven, where you know they are comfortable, loved and in fact, having the time of their life!
Grooming is not available on Sunday, except for our boarders receiving check-out treatment. We do not allow pick-ups or drop-offs on major holidays or before or after hours. No exceptions.
